I received a call from an automated voice purporting to be from BT, stating that my broadband would be cut off today because an unauthorised user was supposedly accessing it. They prompted me to press 1 to get in touch with a BT technician, or 2 if I wished to terminate my broadband service. I found the whole thing rather dubious, so I opted to hang up instead of pressing any buttons. It just felt off to me!

Got a robo call from someone pretending to be BT, saying my internet would be cut off today because apparently someone else was using it. They told me to press 1 to chat with an engineer or 2 to cancel the broadband right away. I didn’t bother pressing anything, just ended the call straight away.
