I got a call from some woman who got all rude when I refused to share my name and where I live. She claimed to be Angelina, but I reckon her real name might be Sunita or something like that. Sounds like a typical scammer from India to me. Honestly, I hope karma catches up with these lot.

It's a classic HMRC scam. Definitely needs to be added to the blocked list!

Just yesterday, I found myself on the receiving end of a rather suspicious automated message claiming that HMRC was initiating legal proceedings against me due to alleged tax evasion. It urged me to press 1 to connect with a so-called case officer if I wished to avert any further legal repercussions. Honestly, it’s nothing but a scam!

Picked up the phone but the call got cut off right away.
