A lady rang me earlier today, asserting she needed to chat with the individual responsible for our domain name, which we bought from them back in 2011 (total fabrication). Since then, we’ve relocated and even altered our phone number, so I’m baffled as to how she managed to get hold of our contact details! Right from the beginning, her story felt off, and I’m relieved I took the time to do a bit of digging online. It turns out a lot of similar dodgy schemes are going around, which is unfortunate, but at least I can spread the word and help others steer clear of these unscrupulous individuals! 😀
