Other Numbers
An individual rang me up, claiming that a rival of mine was purportedly retiring and was 'returning' certain web domains. The thing is, I know for a fact that this chap isn't stepping down, and I can’t imagine he’d just abandon such domains unless he was folding the business entirely.
This outfit that phoned me are nothing but duplicitous fraudsters. They attempted to persuade me to shell out £250.00 each for two domains. Whilst I was on the phone, I quickly checked GoDaddy and discovered that both domains were up for grabs at a mere 99p! They even tried to spin a yarn, suggesting my web developer had registered my site through their services and that they were calling to extend a £250.00 'welcome' offer as a new customer. The reality is, my website and developer have absolutely no connection to them whatsoever.
Best to steer clear of these charlatans!
