No clue who rang me. The guy was talking so quickly, all frantic trying to stick to some sales script that by the end I still had no clue what he was on about. Said some rubbish about my domain names and ownership stuff that made no sense. Would definitely steer clear if I were you.

Some bloke rang up saying he “owned” my website domain. It’s one of those dodgy business scams where they pretend to be the go-between for your domain host, trying to hustle you into dealing with them instead. Proper sneaky tactic to mess with your current hosting, so watch out!

Right from the start, this quick-talking fella with a British accent claimed he was calling on behalf of the firm that handles my web domain registrations. Thing is, my domains are actually with Google, so when I pointed out he was wrong and misleading me, he got all defensive, talking over me non-stop. Then when I questioned the quality of his "customer service," he told me to mind my manners and abruptly ended the call!
