10 yearsJust had a rather fishy encounter with a lady from the North, claiming she was hawking domain names on behalf of Nominet, insisting they wanted me to get in touch as the business owner. Apparently, they were keen for me to have first dibs on these so-called prime names. When I declined, she wouldn’t take no for an answer and queried my reasons. It was quite straightforward: “You come across as a scammer, and I certainly don’t purchase domains over the telephone!” She even went as far as to say she had info from Google and Bing asserting that the domains she was pushing would outrank mine!
