On November 27th, 2020 around 3:45pm, my landline got a ring from 01229-267643. The caller hung up straight away and didn’t leave any voicemail. That number’s from Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, but I don’t know anyone living there. Feels like it could be one of those scams. I usually don’t pick up or return calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Since the lockdown started, these sorts of calls seem to have shot up - I’m getting at least one every single day, whether on my phone or landline. BT’s 1572 service has it blocked now.
