I got a robo call claiming to be from my bank’s Mastercard/Visa team about a suspicious £600 payment to some overseas place. It told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel or confirm the charge. Out of curiosity, I hit 1, then a bloke’s voice came on thanking me and saying to wait for an operator. When the call got through, a lady was silent for a bit before saying hello. I just said, “Why don’t you find a proper job instead of scamming folks?” and ended the call.
