i use talktalk and this number keeps ringing me, they claim to be talktalk tech support and ask you to press 1, but i really doubt its legit.

Got a call from a number pretty close to others known for scams, with someone claiming to be from TalkTalk support. Totally fishy, if you ask me.

So my mum got a call from these lot who said they were 'Quality Calls' or something like that, claiming to be a call blocking company. She honestly believed they were for real. They managed to trick her into thinking it was a proper service and, unfortunately, she ended up handing over her debit card info! Felt so bad for her, such a silly mistake but they sound proper sneaky.
