Recently I got a call about a car crash I supposedly was in, but I have no clue what they’re on about. Never been involved in any accident, and it was pretty confusing hearing that out of nowhere. Seems like some mix-up or maybe someone trying to scam me. Would be good if they got their facts straight before ringing me up!

Definitely sounds like a scam! Someone rang me saying I was due compensation for a car crash. They said they were from some firm named "First Response" or something like that.

Supposedly, they say you’re due some cash from an accident. Yeah, sure, mate.

Someone called up asking if I'd been in an accident, which caught me off guard. Didn’t really know how to answer, bit weird tbh.

I got a call from someone saying they were from First Response, and they began talking about a small car crash I supposedly had. I told them I didn't have any accidents recently and then just ended the call.

some bloke rang me up saying i’d been in a no-fault crash back in 2013 (which i definitely wasn’t) and asked if i'd got any payout from the other person's insurance yet? apparently there was a case file somewhere and cash ready to be grabbed. he sounded like he was from Tyneside or somewhere nearby. i kept him on the line as long as i could handle, then just said no thanks. could hear loads of voices in the background, so it was obviously one of them call centres.
