I've had a right nuisance with a certain number that buzzed my phone seven times without so much as dropping a voicemail. Likely a pesky bot or some sort of automated dialling system, I reckon. Naturally, I refrained from returning the call!

Got a call from some supposed energy company trying to sell me loft insulation. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

had a bloke called gordon ring me up, going on about replacing all the insulation in my attic. he reckoned i could save 40% on my heating bills or summat like that. kept going on like he knew more about my home than me, which was just daft. he was proper pushy, talking so fast i could barely get a word in and kept talking over me the whole time. sounded like he was reading from some script and wouldn’t own up it was just a sales pitch. total hassle.

I got a call from someone saying they were from ‘your home’ asking if I still owned the house, but I’ve never actually owned it. When I asked where they’d got my details from, they said they couldn’t share that info. So, I just told them I couldn’t answer and ended the call.

This bloke was really awkward, kept cutting me off and wouldn’t let me explain. He kept going on like he knew my loft insulation better than I do, even when I was just trying to ask if he’d actually been up there recently. Proper rude, didn’t let me say a thing. I ended up just hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

Got a call around 5.30pm today from someone sayin he was Gordon, a local energy advisor for our area. It’s just rubbish. This is the fourth time in about a month that “Gordon” has rung me, always cutting me off and switching the number he calls from each time. Proper annoying!
