I received a missed call from this number, so I decided to call them back. Upon answering, they claimed to be contacting me regarding "mispayments on premium insurance." I quickly clarified that we do not have any telephone insurance with them. They then mentioned that they obtained my number through a "number generation programme." When I questioned who had provided that information, they suddenly became unresponsive. I recall seeing something similar on Watchdog, so I'm well aware of the tricks they often employ. I won't be swayed by their tactics, as it sounds like a dodgy scheme aimed at extracting money!

I've come across some folks claiming this number was associated with 02; could that actually be the case?

Remarkably impolite, consistently reaching out to us. We've let them know we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but they just won't take the hint. It’s infuriating! We've firmly told them to desist and not engage in any further discussion. Have taken the step of signing up for TPS to ensure our number is taken off their list. My mobile provider claimed they had no authority to remove these calls and haven’t relayed our information. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

The chap who called clearly couldn’t grasp that we weren’t interested in upgrading our mobile phone. When we politely declined, he turned rather unpleasant, bordering on aggressive. He even had the audacity to suggest that our phone was on its last legs before he abruptly hung up on us. Quite astonishing, really!

This number keeps ringing and then disconnects before we can even answer. It's rather exasperating!

I’ve had a rather dodgy experience with these folks who were trying to peddle mobile phones. As soon as we mentioned we had a mere six weeks left on our O2 contract, they suddenly claimed they could purchase us out of it. We were quite sceptical, sensing that it sounded far too good to be real, so we decided to hang up on them.

I just gave them a bell. Turns out mobile calls are complimentary for you. Definitely not with O2, and I’m not keen at all! Cheerio! I'm currently in the 12th week of my O2 contract, and I suspect they might try to tempt us with an upgrade or something.
