Got a call from 01228 714866, seemed like it was from someone with an Asian accent using a VOIP line, claiming to be with O2. I’m usually pretty cautious with random calls, and the voice quality gave the VOIP away straight away. When I asked where she was calling from, the woman said Slough, but the number showed a Carlisle area code. That didn’t add up, so I called her out on it being a scam. Watch out folks, these people are trying to trick you into giving away your payment info with fake offers. Stay vigilant!
