I received a call from a woman claiming to represent O2, offering me a 50% reduction on my phone bill. I courteously declined her offer since it had all the hallmarks of a dodgy call, possibly rerouted from India. At best, it was an unwelcome cold caller, and at worst, a blatant scam.
