Just received a dodgy call allegedly from "bank" security, claiming there were two transactions on my card today. One being a whopping £2,000 spent at Amazon! Strangely, they didn’t even mention which bank it was. Clearly a ploy to instigate worry. I didn’t bother to stick around for the rest of that pre-recorded drivel. In my experience, genuine banks always put you through to a real person.
