Got a recorded call from a woman saying my internet service might get cut off right away because there’s suspicious stuff linked to my IP. It told me to press 1 if I wanna talk to a tech. Just hung up and blocked the number.

Got a phone call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from a BT department about my broadband. Couldn't catch most of what she was saying, maybe 99% went over my head, so I just ended the call. That cheerful "how's your day going" line felt like one of those classic BT scam openings which always makes me suspicious. Definitely felt like a phishing scam, so I'm labelling it as risky.
