i got a robocall pretending to be talktalk telling me my account was about to be shut down. they asked me to hit 1 to talk to someone, and even though i suspected it was dodgy, i pressed it anyway. in the end, the person on the line started asking for my personal info. total scam!

I got a call from someone saying they were from BT and that my internet would be cut off soon. When I asked to speak to a manager, the person just hung up straight away.

The moment I picked up, some robotic voice (sounds just like those annoying scam calls from TalkTalk) started saying I’d supposedly “missed” a call from my broadband provider. It went on telling me what steps to follow but I hung up before it finished.
