Someone phoned claiming to be from Microsoft, but it was clear it was a dodgy call centre overseas. There was a noticeable pause before they picked up, and the accent gave it away straight away. They kept asking if they’d got the right person, but I didn’t bother replying and just hung up since I was about to leave. If I’d had time, I might’ve kept them chatting just to waste their time, but no doubt it was a scam.
