so this weird call from some asian call centre came through saying my internet was "hacked" and that i had unauthorised users on my line. they started threatening to cut off my internet forever! i wasn’t having any of it. i told them to go ahead and disconnect it and to keep me on the phone so i could let them know when it stopped working. after a bit of back and forth, they just hung up on me! surprise surprise, here i am still online writing this. bloody idiots!
