I got a call from some bloke with an asian accent claiming he was from BT, sounded totally fishy to me. I just told him to jog on and blocked the number straight away. Not exactly the nicest way to put it, but honestly, had enough of these calls!

someone rang me pretending to be from bt, saying there was an issue with my internet and asked if they could connect to my computer to fix it. sounded really genuine but i got suspicious and ended the call before giving any info. pretty sure it was a scam.

Had this weird call from a woman with a really strange Asian accent, saying something about my internet. She starts with “We’re checking on your broadband, how’s it going?” I’m like, “Broadband? I don’t have any.” Then she just hangs up! Honestly, don’t they have better things to do than bother people with these dodgy calls? It’s been happening forever. Such a pain!
