Received a call with nothing but silence on the other end. It seems like these scammers are using some sort of automated system that triggers when it hears a voice. Best not to utter a word; they tend to just disconnect if you do!

I just had a call from my energy consultant, Luke. It's quite astonishing to think that there are probably countless energy advisors operating in my vicinity!

Chose not to pick up, so I’ve deemed it a bit suspect. I've exhausted my blocking quota with BT for these kinds of calls.

I received a call from an unfamiliar number, so I opted not to pick up and let it go to voicemail. However, no message was left behind.

I didn’t recognise the calling number, so I decided to let it ring through to voicemail. As anticipated, there was no message left at all. It’s beginning to feel like a never-ending battle—how do we put a stop to these nuisance calls?

Received a call from this number which I didn’t ask for, and they didn’t bother leaving any voicemail. I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list, which makes it all the more frustrating. Even blocking the number doesn’t seem to help, as they simply tweak a digit or two and call yet again. It’s really infuriating!

Received a mysterious call from a number based in Carlisle. Strangely, there was nobody on the line when I picked up. Quite the puzzling experience!

Received a call earlier, and there seemed to be a rather lengthy pause – around four or five seconds – before there was a disconnect sound, something one usually associates with call centres. Then I heard a chap introducing himself as Luke. Instantly thought, “Oh, just another sales call or some dodgy scam,” so I promptly hung up. Surprisingly, nobody rang back afterwards!

I tried reaching out, but there was absolutely nobody there to chat with.
