When this number popped up on my BT phone, it showed NUISANCE ? on the screen, so I just let it ring out. I had a look online and apparently the 01228 code is for Carlisle and nearby places. But this particular number doesn’t seem to be from any official assigned range. If it’s called you, chances are they’re faking their caller ID. That’s about all I know, no more to add oi reckon ;-)

This guy called Luke, claimed to be from some energy firm, talking all proper like on the telly, trying to sell me loft insulation. Sounds too good to be true - turns out it’s a right scam. Be careful folks!
