I got a call claiming to be from BT. They started by asking about my internet and then wanted me to check my IP on the computer. The whole chat got pretty technical, and I had no clue what was going on. Even though I felt something was off, I didn’t give them any info or let them access anything. If this really was BT, it was a pretty bad way to treat a customer, especially an older person who likely wouldn’t understand all this tech stuff. Definitely seemed fishy to me.
