I got a robotic call saying £600 was charged on my debit card and if I wanted to speak to the fraud dept I should press 1. Already reported it to the coppers.

Got a robocall saying £600 was being transferred abroad and to press 1 if it wasn’t me, otherwise my card gets frozen. Definitely sounded dodgy!

I picked up and then just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from some American automated message saying a payment over $199 had gone through on my Visa. It asked me to hang up if that was fine or press a button to speak to someone - seemed like a scam tryna grab my card info or hack my PC. I hadn’t bought anything from Amazon lately and I only use Sterling when I shop online anyway. On Saturday, I got like five calls from different numbers warning my internet was about to be cut off. I just ignored them and hung up each time.

without a doubt a scammer ringing me up. some american bloke kept saying “there’s been an attempt to charge your amazon card.” total nonsense. i can see my account myself, no way that’s true.
