The call started with a bit of silence, then a guy named Paul spoke up. He had an Indian accent, which I recognised since loads of my mates are Indian and they all have that kind of accent. He tried to pitch me an iPhone 12 Pro for just £32 a month. I told him straight out not to bother calling me again because it sounded like a scam. He denied being a scammer and told me to ring them back if I was interested. When I said I’d report them to trading standards, he just said “fine” and hung up. I tried calling the number back afterwards but ended up speaking to a completely different company.
