I tried to have a conversation with a chap on the phone who had an extremely thick Indian accent. Honestly, I couldn’t pick up a single word he was saying! Even after he repeated his spiel twice, I was still lost. In the end, when I mentioned that I couldn’t make sense of it, he just hung up. Quite an experience, to say the least!

Received a call from a fella named Paul, and there was a bit of a delay before he spoke. He had quite an Indian accent, which I can easily recognise, as I have several friends from India who speak similarly. He claimed to be offering me an iPhone 12 Pro for a mere £32 a month. I flat-out told him to stop ringing me, you scammer! He insisted he wasn’t a scammer and encouraged me to ring them back if I was interested. I mentioned I’d be contacting trading standards, to which he simply replied, “Sure,” before dropping the line. Naturally, when I attempted to ring back, I ended up connecting to an entirely different company.
