Got a call from a computerised voice with an American accent pretending to be from HMRC, saying there was an arrest warrant. It told me to press 1 to speak to an adviser. Weirdly, yesterday a different number rang me with the exact same recorded message. Instead of pressing 1, I just blocked the number straight away. Definitely a scam, being all threatening about legal stuff. HMRC don't operate like that... I may not be their biggest fan, but they stick to proper official methods. Recorded automated calls like that aren’t part of their process!
