I was informed that a sum of £600 was supposedly being dispatched to a charity overseas from my bank account. Quite frankly, that struck me as preposterous since my balance was merely £11, and I don't have an overdraft facility. They repeatedly pressed for my account number, which I outright refused to provide. Then they claimed that a manager would ring me back, but I've yet to receive any follow-up calls. Just a word of caution-these folks are certainly persuasive!

I’ve had a couple calls today, both times I didn’t pick up but my answerphone is switched on. They never left a message so I’m guessing it’s just a sales pitch.
