Got a random call on my mobile late morning from some bloke with a posh voice claiming to be from The Inland Revenue. It was a pre-recorded message, said I was suspected of tax fraud and if I didn’t react quick and press certain buttons, I’d face prosecution. I didn’t press any button and then the call just went dead. Really intimidating way of speaking. Just to be clear, all my taxes are totally legit.
