Earlier today, I received a phone call from a chap claiming to be with a company going by the name of "Ariel Direct." He mentioned they were collaborating with O2 and aimed to arrange a new mobile phone contract on my behalf. I'm rather sceptical about the whole thing. Feels a bit off, if you ask me.

Got a call from Ariel Direct saying they work with O2 and wanted to talk about my phone contract. I’ve never heard of them or any deal with O2, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from Ariel Direct claiming they work with O2 and want to sort out new plans. They seemed to know loads about my phone contract. They tried to get me to agree to some offer, went over the details and asked me to verify certain things. But then they asked for my bank info which I refused to give. I’m gonna ring O2 myself to double check before doing anything.
