I picked up the phone and all I heard was silence before they suddenly dropped the call.

Unless you drop a voicemail, there’s no way for us to figure out who’s calling or what you need!

They tried to act like they were from my phone company and asked for my account info, which honestly seems off since most real providers don’t ask stuff like that. My advice? Just don’t even bother and hang up straight away.

When I picked up, they stayed silent, so I told 'em to either say something or shove off, then just cut the call.

They claimed to be from EE but just cut me off right away after I wouldn’t tell them how much I usually pay on my bill each month! Proper dodgy.
