SCAM ALERT - VISA: Got a call from what looked like a my local number. The person on the line said they were ringing about some charge on my bank card for a hotel booking in Cyprus. I pressed Option 2 to talk to the police about fraud on my card, and a woman with an Asian accent picked up. I asked which police station she was with, and she just said “Police HQ.” When I kept asking for the location, she said London. I then told her the call was coming from my area code, and she just hung up on me.
