Somebody rang me pretending to be from Amazon Prime, saying my computer had been hacked and there was a fake Prime account made in my name. They said they’d send me a form to prove my internet had been compromised. I told them they should just shut down the Amazon account straight away. They said they weren’t able to do that by themselves. I argued they could if they suspected scam activity. Then they just ended the call.
