I've received the same annoying call as well. It was yet another automated message warning me about impending arrest and prompting me to hit #1. It’s baffling why HMRC hasn’t taken more action against these con artists. This sort of behaviour is absolutely against the law!

I received a rather alarming automated call claiming to be from HMRC. The message instructed me to press one, threatening that if I didn't, a warrant for my arrest would be issued without delay. Quite worrying, to say the least!
