Today I got a call from a blocked number telling me I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault, but that was totally made up! I’ve reported them to TPS and blocked the number straight away.

Was out shopping when my phone pinged with a Canterbury number. Picked up and a person with a really thick Indian accent claimed to be ringing from the Next store there. I had a gut feeling it was dodgy, so I just said, “No thanks” and hung up. Thought it was probably one of those scam calls. I tried ringing Next themselves on their main 0333 line to let them know someone was pretending to be them, but after the first response, I got left on hold forever and couldn’t actually get through to anyone to report it properly. Quite frustrating!

A person rang me with a thick accent saying they were from O2. I said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. But they kept ringing, so in the end, I just blocked the number.

I cut her off straight away, telling her I'm fed up with these constant calls and don’t fall for scams. They’d been ringing me loads over the past few days, so I asked them to remove me from their list because I never share any details over calls. If I want an offer, I’ll call the company myself. She tried saying it was a once in a lifetime offer but I just hung up and blocked the number.

He tried pushing me a deal on an iPhone 12 but I just hung up and blocked the number after that.
