Today I got a call from a blocked number telling me I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault, but that was totally made up! I’ve reported them to TPS and blocked the number straight away.

While I was out doing a bit of shopping, I got a call on my mobile that flashed up with a number linked to Canterbury. Curiosity got the better of me, so I picked it up, only to be met by a rather pronounced Indian accent claiming to be from Next in Canterbury. I didn’t hesitate for long and simply said, "Goodbye!" as I suspected it to be a dodgy call. I then attempted to reach out to Next to inform them that their name was being misused. However, after a brief chat with someone on their general 0333 line, I was inexplicably left on hold for ages without getting through to anyone who could handle my report. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

A person rang me with a thick accent saying they were from O2. I said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. But they kept ringing, so in the end, I just blocked the number.

Got a call from 02, number 01227642019, with a lady named Jenny talking in a strong Indian accent trying to pitch some amazing phone deal. I cut her off straight away, telling her I'm fed up with these constant calls and don’t fall for scams. They’d been ringing me loads over the past few days, so I asked them to remove me from their list because I never share any details over calls. If I want an offer, I’ll call the company myself. She tried saying it was a once in a lifetime offer but I just hung up and blocked the number.

I had a rather unsettling encounter with a chap who had quite a thick Indian accent. He claimed to represent O2 and was ringing up with some sort of deal. When I pointed out that I suspected he was up to no good and not affiliated with O2 at all, he made some alarming threats, saying he wanted to harm me! Then he just cut the line. Quite the experience, I must say!

I requested to be removed from their list, but he insisted he’d continue to ring incessantly. When I asked to speak to a manager, he asserted he was the manager himself. He then proceeded to offer me a deal for an iPhone 12, at which point I hung up and promptly blocked the number.

It appears I've been contacted by the Car Phone Warehouse, or so they claimed. They were promoting low-cost phone rentals. However, when I inquired about why the call was coming from Canterbury, the chap mentioned his office was in W3. Complete nonsense! I've decided to block that number.
