I got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be from BT, saying they could boost my internet speed. Our connection's been slow recently, so I kind of played along. I was with my partner then and asked if they could send me something in the post to check out later. Weirdly, right after the call, my Sky internet went down at the hub, no warning or anything. Could this be some sort of scam? When I tried ringing the number back, it said the number was invalid. Honestly, it’s a bit worrying, isn’t it? (By the way, internet eventually came back on.)
