They kicked things off with a scripted pitch about my “business” and some new tenancy situation at a certain location, insisting it was urgent. Now, just to clarify, I’m not in business per se; I manage a club. It strikes me as odd that this rogue outfit has managed to nab my number from our social media channels. A few months back, they bombarded my partner with 6 to 7 calls daily, especially after we recently relocated. After we publicly announced the new location just last week, I was hit with calls as many as 12 times in a single day! They never leave a voicemail and are utterly clueless about how they obtained my number. The only bits of info they possess are the club’s name and the venue’s address.
