I've been getting calls from a number that looks like it's nearby, ringing my landline and mobile loads of times. They claim to be from a legal firm dealing with a car crash I supposedly had in the past six months. Thing is, I've never had any accident. I blocked their number on my phone, but somehow they keep reaching me using other numbers with the same local prefix. I told them to take me off their calling list, they promised to do so, yet the calls haven't stopped.

I’m baffled by how they manage to get hold of my number! It’s a local line, yet here I am being inundated with calls from a call centre harping on about some accident that happened donkeys years ago. Absolutely maddening!
