Picked up the phone and there was an automated message saying my name was linked to tax fraud. I hit 1 to get through to a person but didn’t even think to find out what company was calling. When I asked them who they worked for and who was funding them, I told them I’m a lawyer and work for hmrc. That’s when the call suddenly got cut off.
