I’ve come across loads of scams before, so I’m pretty good at spotting when someone’s trying to rip me off. Today, I got a call claiming to be from HMRC about some bogus tax fraud case tied to me. Obviously, it’s all rubbish because HMRC wouldn’t handle things like that over the phone in the first place.
