6 yearsAbsolute con job! I received a rather dodgy automated message claiming to be from HMRC, saying I was under investigation for fraud. If I didn’t press 1, they threatened to issue a warrant for my arrest. Naturally, I hung up straight away. It was quite clear that it wasn't HMRC at all, especially since they called my work phone - which they wouldn’t have. I can only imagine how much I would’ve been charged if I had pressed that number! Total scam, pure and simple!HMRCSubmit Your Own Report (01227 048561)
