I picked up the phone and was greeted by a recorded message claiming that I was under investigation for tax fraud. It instructed me to press 1 for further details, warning ominously that failing to do so would lead to a warrant for my arrest. Naturally, I didn’t press any buttons and the call was promptly terminated. When I attempted to return the call, it turned out the number wasn’t valid. Quite the dodgy experience, if you ask me!

I picked up the phone and there was a recorded message claiming I was under investigation for tax evasion. It told me to press 1 or else I’d have an arrest warrant out for me. Obviously I didn’t press anything and just hung up. When I tried calling the number back, it didn’t even come up as a valid number. Very suspicious!
