These people are total ambulance chasers. There was actually an accident and my husband got badly hurt, so I really don’t want them lurking around, trying to cash in on our misfortune. Honestly, I wasn’t very polite to them, and I don’t blame myself for it.

Got calls from some Oven Cleaning firm a few times now. Even though I pressed the code to stop the calls, they kept coming. There was another option to press a code to book an appointment, so eventually, I did that on one of the calls just to try and get them to quit. They sent a local person to arrange a visit. When the agent rang, I was tempted to mess around and waste their time since they wasted mine. Ended up having a serious chat with them, letting them know I'd report them if they kept calling. They said they'd stop, and thankfully the calls have stopped for now. What a pain!

Got a call about a car crash I supposedly was in. I told them I haven’t had any accidents and asked how they got my phone number. Then they kept asking if I’d been in one within the past three years, so I asked again how they found my number, and then they just hung up on me.
