I received a call today from someone claiming to be from HMRC, and honestly, it was just a ploy to extort money from me. They had the audacity to threaten me with imprisonment and labelled me as some sort of criminal for supposedly dodging taxes. It’s all complete nonsense!

When I answered the call, I was met with a pre-recorded message claiming I was in hot water for tax evasion and advising me to clear my debts immediately. Having always handled my taxes personally, I can confidently say this is absolute nonsense-I recognise it for the scam it undoubtedly is.
