4 yearsPhone buzzed for about fifty seconds, but I just let it ring out.4 yearsI’m based in Northern Ireland and got a call from a woman who sounded Indian, claiming she was from 02 offering 40% off my bills until my contract ends. I said fine, then she passed me onto a man, also with an Indian accent, who said he’d send me two texts to verify stuff. They wanted me to send them a code from the messages. I told them I was busy working, so couldn’t do it just then. They said no worries and would call back after 5. Not sure if it’s a scam; I didn’t want to take the chance though. If they ring again, I’ll ask them to email me with all the info they already have or send it in the post.Northern Ireland4 yearsAs soon as I answered the call, they hung up instantly.
