I was in the middle of a phone call when I heard the call waiting beep, but I kept talking with the person on the line. The number that popped up was a landline from my area, even though I didn't know it. Curiosity got the better of me, so I rang it back. Instead of the regular local ring, it had this odd long beep, kind of like the US style tone, which made me think it wasn’t really nearby and probably just another annoying scam call. So, if you get a ring from this number, I’d recommend just blocking it.
