Like other people have said, I got a robo call claiming my IP address was at risk and that I needed to change it urgently. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to someone who could help fix it, or else they'd cut off my internet. I hung up straight away. That was about 4 days ago and my internet hasn’t had any issues. This is actually the second time I’ve received a call like this in the last couple weeks.

I got a call with a recorded message saying my internet was hacked and they were going to cut it off unless I changed my IP address. They told me to press 1 to talk to a tech guy. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Checked my ansafone and there was a message with some really deep breaths and soft voices talking in the background. They never actually said anything, just kept breathing heavily until the recording stopped. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call saying my IP was hacked and I had to change it, got told to stay on the line so some ‘Technician’ could help me sort it out. Didn’t fall for it, absolute scam!

Got a call from 01226751050, some automatic message saying my IP was hacked and I had to switch it. It told me to wait on the line for a "Technician" to explain the next steps. Definitely a hard pass from me, sounded dodgy as heck.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from BT Internet, named Daniel Martin with an Indian accent. He warned me that my "router" - he said it with an American twist - was hacked or something. Then he asked me to switch on my PC so he could "fix" it remotely. Said my internet would stop working right away if I didn't. Funny thing is, nothing happened to my connection at all.

I didn’t pick up the phone ‘cause I thought it was probably some sort of sales call or a scam. Looking it up now on this site just confirms my suspicion.

They called me but ended up hanging up right when I was about to pick up. I had a look on this site and saw that loads of others have had calls from them too.

Got a call from a woman with an American accent, said her name was Shirley or something and claimed to be from some internet service company. Didn’t get any further than that before I slammed the red button on my call blocker.
