Some bloke with an Asian accent said he was “Alex” from BT Openreach and asked if I had internet access. I told him I actually chat through two yoghurt pots tied together with string, which amusingly turned out to be exactly how he was 'calling' me. We both had a laugh about how crystal clear the line was, and I reckon he sussed out I was messing about before he cut off. I’m not about to let these scammers win - my aim is to keep them hanging on and, if I can, nip them in the bud while I’m at it.
