I got a call from someone saying they were with South Yorkshire Police and wanted me to ring back to book an appointment. I looked up both the mobile number they rang from and the landline they told me to call, but couldn’t find anything linking them to the police. Other places mentioned these numbers get used in scams about bank issues too. Definitely felt a bit dodgy to me.
