some guy called saying he worked for a housing association but his english was awful. when i asked how he found my number, he just ended the call!

Received a call claiming to be from House Disablement Management Ltd. Not entirely sure what that’s supposed to mean! I reckon it’s one of those calls from an Indian call centre. They cut the line as soon as I asked them to clarify their identity.

Definitely smells like a scam to me.

A guy with a foreign accent rang me, claiming he was getting in touch because I’d asked about fixing stuff in the house. His English wasn’t great. I told him I never made any such request and ended the call pretty quickly.

Got this annoying call from someone claiming to be Christian de Souza at the Accident Advice Centre in Manchester, trying to get me to claim £4,000 for some car accident injuries. Problem is, that accident was sorted out ages ago, over a year back! What injuries is he on about? Does he really think I’m that gullible? So frustrating!

Got a call from the Bamstey area but no voicemail left, which always makes me a bit iffy. The number showed up as unknown on my phone.

I just received a call on my mobile. An automated voice came on, saying, "Greetings, how are you today?" I chose to remain silent. Then it tried again, "Is anyone there?" I continued to keep my mouth shut. Eventually, the line went dead.
