I already told this person that I'm signed up with the T.P.S. and have their number saved to report them (got caller I.D. too) but they just rang back and didn’t say a word. Last time they said stuff that made me think they might try to hack into my computer, so I’m treating them as possibly risky.

Had yet another annoying call today, and these persistent folks just don’t seem to grasp the concept of “no.” They even had the nerve to say they’d be ringing me repeatedly. I wasn’t having any of it and gave them a swift two-word response about what they ought to do. After that, I remembered my phone has a nifty call blocking feature, so I’ve now put a block on that pesky number, just like someone else wisely advised. Cheers for the tips!

Got a call today from some Indian guy calling himself 'Peter' about my Windows PC. I told him straight up to shove his scam where the sun don't shine. Honestly, how's being on the TPS meant to help when these muppets just keep on ringing? When will it end?

Got a call from this number yet again! Same nonsense as usual. I said I don’t own a laptop and the bloke started shouting, telling me to get lost and calling me a STUPID WOMAN!!! This feels like proper harassment, surely something can be done? I live alone and get really nervous and scared to pick up since I don’t have caller ID - I’m on the TPS but they still keep ringing me.

Absolutely, I’ve encountered the same persistent caller on the 25th of January, 2017. They were incredibly pushy, claiming they needed to rectify some alleged issues with my Windows computer. No matter how many times I insisted they were nothing but scammers and requested they stop calling, they continued to ring me back repeatedly, even going so far as to threaten incessant calls, morning and night. Looking back, I reckon I should have just told them I’m an Apple user and don’t even own a Windows machine!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from Windows using 01226490001. Reckon it’s the same guy who goes on at everyone. No point arguing with these muppets, they just wind you up. This has been happening for ages and it feels like no one in charge really does anything to put a stop to it.

Received three calls from this number earlier today. When I mentioned that I only have an iPad and not a computer, the caller outright accused me of fibbing! The cheek of it! Honestly, it's no surprise they’re not gainfully employed with such an attitude.

Yesterday, I received a call that was entirely silent. I figured it could be a scam. I've had my fair share of tomfoolery with such callers before, where I’ve kept them waiting endlessly while I fumble around, pretending to boot up my computer or even indicating I'm off to warm something in the microwave-just to waste their time. It’s really quite bothersome, to say the least.

What a nasty little scammer - got a call this morning claiming my computer was sending error alerts. He tried to get me to follow his steps on the PC. When I asked why and if he was really from Microsoft, he got quite rude. I hung up but then he rang back. Told him to get lost and called him a nasty little conman. I told him not to ring again but he kept calling saying he’d be calling all day and night. Reported it to my landline provider who blocked the number. Really worried about how they found my number since I’m ex-directory and on the TPS list.

I received a phone call today from a woman who identified herself as Lisa, speaking with a noticeable Asian accent. She purported to be affiliated with Windows support. Got a call from this number today, some bloke saying he was from “Windows support.” Bit odd as we don’t have any Windows computers here at the moment. Thought about messing with him a bit but ended up just telling him to bugger off and hanging up. He called back about five more times! Got some family to chat with him in different languages, which probably threw him right off. Hasn't called back since - so far! I’m planning to report him to my phone company and maybe the police, just to be safe.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the Windows technical support team, insisting that I had issues with my system-what a load of nonsense! He was incredibly loud and downright rude, throwing insults at me as he went on. Honestly, the whole experience was just exasperating; he wouldn’t let up! Normally, I might have played around with them a bit, perhaps asking for my IP address to see how clueless they are (I should've mentioned I'd just had my Windows cleaned, as some have suggested), but this chap was far too aggressive for my liking. I ended up hanging up on him. He had a distinct Asian accent and the line was terrible-definitely a scam!

This morning, we received another call from that same number. My husband was rather taken aback and questioned the caller about the early hour, politely urging them to leave us be before hanging up, as we recognised the call for what it was-a nuisance. Not long after, the same chap rang back and threw a right tantrum. They didn’t offer a name but went on with the usual spiel about 'technical support for Windows' and all that rot.

I had a rather dodgy encounter the other day with a chap claiming my computer had been compromised while we were in conversation. He was insistent on assisting me and asked for some sort of serial number, rushing me along as if it were a dire emergency. He was running a con, pretending to be from the Windows technical support team, and introduced himself as Sean Bellford. Been getting calls from these lot, this is the 4th one in just a couple days. First a woman rang, when I told her it was a scam and I wasn't interested, a bloke rang back. Managed to block him but they kept calling and each time sounded more aggressive and threatening. If you were older or vulnerable, you'd honestly feel really intimidated and might just snap and turn your computer on to check who they are. Now he's warned he'll keep ringing me all hours. Curious to see what happens now!

You won’t believe it, but I had a really similar experience. I thought the caller was from Asia or something, but the number kept coming up as either unreachable or 01226490001. Got a call from an Indian guy warning me about supposed viruses I'd picked up in the past few months. I instantly twigged it was a scam, so I messsed about, slowly "starting up my computer" while cheerfully firing off loads of questions like where he's calling from and why he’d ring on a public holiday (he said he wasn’t from a bank). He claimed to be in Westminster and gave a number beginning with 0203. After a bit, the line went rubbish and I just ended the call.

Yet another so-called Windows cleaner ringing me up - a total pain, honestly. This bloke just wouldn’t get that my windows are the ones I see out of, not some computer thing, and that I get my mail the old-fashioned way by post, not email. Plus, he totally missed the bit about my laptop being on my lap, not on top of my head or something! Really frustrating chat with him, he just didn’t take the hint. Why’s it so hard to block these callers for good?

A chap with an accent that sounded rather foreign called me up, insisting I hit the Windows key and R, then report back to him with what came up. I couldn't resist winding him up a bit, jokingly asking if it was due to all the dodgy stuff I browse online. He got quite defensive, claiming I was being dishonest. When I casually mentioned I used a Mac, he seemed to lose interest, and the call fizzled out.

A guy with an English name, who sounded Asian, called me yesterday claiming he worked for Windows. He said that he suspected my computer was being used for some illegal stuff by strangers. Typically, I tend to steer clear of answering calls from withheld, international, or unknown numbers. However, today I found myself at home and the phone rang. It was a withheld number claiming to be concerning my Windows computer. I hardly engaged with the woman on the line; instead, I just kept her talking, pressing her for more details about the so-called issue. When she requested that I log into my computer, I inquired if that was her way of collecting my personal information, which she had already warned me about. We exchanged a few rather terse words, and she firmly denied having asked for any of my details. After that, I decided to hang up, only for this number to ring me almost immediately after, leading me to believe it's the same lot ringing me again. On the odd occasion, I enjoy toying with them if I'm in the right frame of mind, but it really frustrates me when they target my elderly mother, who suffers from dementia, as she finds these calls distressing.

I just got a call from an Asian woman claiming there’s an issue with my Windows laptop. I played along and said I don’t own any laptop, tablet or phone. Asked her then what computer she was even talking about. Kept asking silly questions about the device I supposedly had, sounding worried and confused. After a bit of this she just ended the call.

I’ve had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a relentless nuisance on the other end of the line. This individual claims to possess intimate knowledge about my computer, particularly with regard to the “Windows operating system,” and keeps going on about so-called “issues” that apparently plague my system. When pressed for any details on who he is or how he knows all this, he clams up tighter than a drum. It’s utterly absurd. Best to steer clear of this one. Don’t engage with the call at all; it’s clearly a scam.

Had this annoying caller who kept going on about my computer having issues with "Windows OS" and stuff. Wouldn’t tell me how he supposedly knows anything, and dodged every legit question about who he was or the company he worked for. Just hang up. Complete scam. Don’t bother answering!

I've been receiving numerous calls lately, and the later ones have taken a rather odd turn, starting with questions like, "Why did you cut the call short?"

They kept ringing for about half an hour when my girls were at home. Claimed there was an issue with our Windows PCs and said he knew we had Windows machines (we actually use Macs) and even said they were fibbing! They finally stopped when one of the girls said they’d told the cops about the number.

This bloke was incredibly disrespectful, persistently bombarding me with calls. I eventually told him to quit it, to which he responded that he had no intention of stopping. He claimed to be from Microsoft and insisted that he'd continue ringing me regardless. Quite outrageous!

Never told me his name but was really rude. Rang me like 12 times and every time I hung up, he called straight back. Said he’d keep ringing all day and every day till midnight. Something really needs to be done about this bloke.

I received a call regarding my computer, and when I mentioned I’d be reporting the number, they promptly ended the conversation. How peculiar!

An annoying and relentless nuisance indeed. This individual purports to represent Microsoft but has now resorted to making silent calls after I requested him to cease his calls. Quite frustrating, really.

I ended the call yesterday as soon as the guy said there was an issue with my computer. They rang me back three times yesterday and again this morning. Really pushy and rude behaviour.

Loads of times now I’ve had calls about some issue with my PC. When I told the bloke on the phone I wasn’t letting him access my computer under any excuse to nick my personal info, he rudely told me to “go jump in a lake” and repeated himself when I asked him to excuse his language! Now I just ignore the calls since I can see who it is with Caller ID.

This bloke’s calling himself David now, ringing me about some window stuff.. look mate, my windows were cleaned just last week, don’t need another cleaner. I grabbed my police whistle from the drawer and blew right into the phone - must’ve shattered his ears! He ended the call. Same thing happened last night, I told him I’m a pensioner with no computer, he asked if I had a laptop, I said nope, just a pensioner, then he just hung up.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who got really shouty when I said I wasn’t buying his story about an issue with my computer. He actually threatened to shut it down! Then he rang me back like SEVEN times in a row right after. Once it went to answerphone, he didn’t even bother leaving a message. Honestly, his aggressive tone was shocking. These calls came through at about 5:30pm on Tuesday, 29th November 2016. Also, the same number rang earlier today, but it was a woman this time - she hung up when I did and never called back.

I just had the most infuriating encounter! My 92-year-old grandmother, bless her, has dementia and received a call from some dreadful bloke who was downright impolite. Naturally, I stepped in and kindly requested that he take her number off their list. His response? A loud and obnoxious “NO!” Can you believe that? When I threatened to involve the police, he had the audacity to laugh and said he’d keep pestering her! I'm absolutely livid! This sort of behaviour is utterly unacceptable from any organisation!

This number rang my elderly mum, and the bloke who called said his name was 'Mike' with an Asian accent. He was really pushy and even phoned again right after she ended the call. He kept threatening to 'shut down her server' and warned that 'getting a new computer wouldn’t fix anything'.

Received a call today from someone who claimed to be addressing an issue with my computer. The caller had a thick Indian accent and struggled with their English. I informed him that I don’t actually possess a computer and requested that he refrain from calling me again. After that, I promptly ended the call and blocked the number.

Not sure who the caller was, but the moment I picked up and heard an Asian accent (maybe Indian or Pakistani?) mixed with a European name and the word "Windows," I just ended the call straight away.
